Fire Fighters Donate Time

The Community Service Council called and requested help in remodeling a store front unit for them to occupy.  The CSC needed help with some minor demolition, general cleaning and painting to make the unit usable.  Several Local 3005 members, along with serveral Romeoville Fire Fighters Union members, donated their saturday to lend a hand.  The previous tennant had a hood exhaust system installed and it needed to be removed.  This proved to be a challenge but not impossible.  In the end, the hood system proved to be no match to a little inginuity and some power tools. Some of our local political dignitaries were on hand as well, including Dupage Township Supervisor William Mayer and Romeoville Mayor John Noak.
